MUM FUNDRAISER: SEPTEMBER 2-16
Every fall we hold a mum fundraiser which has traditionally been one of the most successful fundraisers each year. Available in gorgeous fall colors (yellow, bronze, purple, white, and red), the plants will be delivered to Mt. Juliet High School on Tuesday, September 23. Families will be responsible for picking up their plant orders that day. The vendor always provides healthy plants that are wrapped so once you remove the plastic, they cascade down into the beautiful flowers you see in the order form.
Click here to access the flyer and order form
PROCESS:
Use the tracking spreadsheet provided on the back of the flyer (or your own) to keep track of your customer names, addresses, orders, and payment.
Submit ONE complete order and one FULL payment by September 16 through Givebacks (or check) for payment and this Google Form to submit your completed order.
FUNDRAISING POTENTIAL: Students earn 75% of the profit from the sale of each mum while the band gets the remaining 25%. It is important to note that the percentage is based on the profit per mum, not the retail. For example, if the profit was $10/plant, the student would get $7.50/ea while the band would get $2.50/ea.
BAND FLAIR - BUTTONS NOW AVAILABLE
The band is doing an ongoing fundraiser for the rest of the football and competition season. Our very talented Vice President, Michele McDonald, has created 80 different designs. Prices are $2 for small and $4 for large. =
#SpotOn buttons? YEA! MJHS buttons? Yes. Section buttons? Yep. Funny buttons? Absolutely. Mom buttons? Of course. Dad buttons? Check. Student buttons? Yup, got those too. Big buttons and small buttons. We have so many that EVERYONE GETS A BUTTON! Well…the selection is that good. Click here to check out the options and place your order.
SWAG STORE - SPOT ON SHOW SHIRT LIVE
The show shirt for Spot On! is now live in the Swag Store in both short- and long-sleeved options. When checking out, if you select pickup as an option for delivery, the orders will be delivered directly to the school and you will not be charged. Show shirts for the students have already been ordered and the cost is included in their band fees.
CHAPERONES - FOOTBALL AND COMPETITIONS
The need for chaperones is ongoing. This week we have an away game on Friday with the entire band traveling and then our first performance at the Wilson County Exhibition on Saturday at Green Hill High School. The Board is working to define and communicate a list of needs from chaperones to help make this process easier to navigate for those who sign up.
FAT HEADS - LAST CALL FOR SENIOR PARENTS
As a senior parent, you should have received an email from our Vice President, Michele McDonald, inquiring about your interest in purchasing a Fat Head. If you have not yet responded, please reach out to her at mjbogboostervp@gmail.com. These are always a fun (and funny) way to support your student at games and competitions throughout fall and even into the winter season.
AUDITORS NEEDED
The District requires a volunteer auditor to review our bookkeeping records. We are researching requirements but if this is something that interests you, please email me at mjbogboosterpresident@gmail.com and we can discuss details as we find out more.
