I hope everyone has had a great fall break! Whether you went on an adventure or stayed closer to home, I think we can all agree that it has been some much needed down time away from school.

We have our final home game this Friday (providing we do not host any playoff games). Please help us make this last night a big success for the band by donating your time!
Booster Meeting
We have our final booster meeting of the marching season this coming Thursday at 6:30 PM.
Please plan to attend for important information regarding the rest of the season.
I will also have pre-purchased CoC tickets available to hand out. If you cannot attend the meeting to pick up your tickets, you or your student may pick them up from Mr. Cox's office.
Blue Devil Invitational
Our competition this coming Saturday is at Lebanon High School. They run their competition differently than our previous competitions.
Not only do they host preliminaries and finals, but they also have schools perform in reverse order according the class size. Therefore, our preliminary performance on Saturday is at 2:30 PM. The top 5 scoring bands will return for finals which begins at 7:30 PM.
Our band students will return to MJHS after their preliminary performance for downtime and a meal before, hopefully, loading back up and returning to LHS for finals.
The band students will be served 2 meals for this competition: 1 before they leave for prelims and 1 after they return to the school.
If you KNOW you are attending this competition, I urge you to purchase a ticket in advance. Tickets purchased before Saturday are $20, whereas at the gate the price will be $25. Students with a WCS student ID can get in for $5.
