Congratulations, BoG, on a near clean sweep at last night's competition at Liberty Creek! We missed out on the overall music award by just 0.25 points.
The band won all of the awards in Class A, and Overall Guard, Percussion, Visual, General Effect, and Best Overall Large Division. How proud are we of these kids?!
With fall break looming ahead, we do NOT have any competitions coming up next weekend.
We DO, however, have a home football game on Friday night, and it is Senior Night which means we need a LOT of parent help in the concession stand and chaperoning. Senior parents will NOT be available to help with any pre-game volunteering needed for the band.

Mums
The mum sales were a HUGE success for the band! Thank you to all that participated and helped raise funds for some new instruments for the band room. Thank you to everyone who helped unload and sort. We'll announce how much we raised at our October 17th booster meeting.
Band Concert
There is a band concert on Tuesday at 6:30 PM. You can pre-purchase tickets on GoFan or purchase through GoFan on the day of. This is a combined band and choir concert.
The band boosters will be selling light concessions and roses prior to the concert.
CoC Ticket Orders
Contest of Champions ticket orders are due THIS WEDNESDAY. Payment is due on Wednesday as well. If you would like to purchase CoC tickets for $15 instead of $20 at the gate, please get your orders in ASAP. Please refer to the email that was sent out on September 15 about Contest of Champion tickets for more information.
Senior Night
Senior parents, let's plan to meet in the band room no later than 6PM on Friday. We can walk to the stadium together and be ready to line up at the field at 6:15 PM for the festivities.
Friday Night Football
If you are not a senior parent, please try to volunteer with the band this coming Friday. We have a LOT of senior parents that help in concessions that simply will not be available to help this Friday until after the Senior Night festivities are over.
