Week of May 31

Thank you to everyone who helped out at the school last week with band meals and parent work day! Parent volunteers are 100% the backbone of a successful band program.

I think the first week of band camp was a big success. The kids seem super excited about the fall show and music. I can't wait to see it all come together!

Peaches

Our peach vendor has given us until the end of the week to put in our order so if you have any more sales to add, please feel free to add them to the online order form! Payment can be made on Givebacks.  

Orders will arrive June 22 and will need to be picked up between 5 - 7PM that evening in the band room. We cannot hold peaches.

Car Wash & Yard Sale

The band car wash and yard sale are this coming weekend! The weather is looking good (finally!) so hopefully we will have a lot of customers. 

PLEASE SIGN UP IF YOU CAN HELP WITH EITHER EVENT! We also need a LOT of students to help with the car wash! 

Both events are at WWMS. The yard sale begins at 7:30 AM and the car wash begins at 9 AM.

Dues

The second round of dues are due on June 4. You can find a link to the dues schedule on the sidebar of the blog. If you did not make your payment before the end of band camp, you can pay via Givebacks.

Band Sponsorships

Band Sponsorships are another way for the band to raise money for the fall marching season. This money goes towards competition fees, props, instructor costs, transportation, and more! Please consider reaching out to the company you work for to see if they would be willing to sponsor the band. We have multiple levels of sponsorship available. You can find our current sponsorship form here. Sponsorship forms are due August 1. 

Band Scholarships

Those that applied for a band scholarship will be notified in July when we return for the next band camp whether you received a scholarship or not. 

Facebook

Our public Facebook page can be found here. For our 2026-2027 band members and parents, you can find our private Facebook page here. You must answer the questions to be allowed onto the page. This page is not for extended family (you can refer them to our public page). We use this page for reminders, shout outs, etc.

2027 Disney Trip

If you are interested in the Band Disney Trip next spring, you can find info here. This is general information about how the trip typically works. At the bottom of the page are links to the interest form sign up and the link to make the initial $50 deposit to hold your student's seat on the charter bus.
